Application administrator vs. Start page administrator

There are two different types of administrators for Start pages – the Application administrator and the Start page administrator. The table shows an overview of the difference between the two. A fixed set of settings is always enabled for both types of administrators.

Full access to Start pages

You can perform these tasks if you have access to Start pages:

  • Create and publish pages

  • Modify any public page

  • Delete any public page

Access to Page Administration tool

With the Page Administration tool you can set a default template for a specific group, or set a mandatory page to a group

With the Import/Export tool you can move Start page data from one server to another
