Export to Migration Package

  1. In LifeCycle Manager, click your M3 Web Services installation and select the Import/Export command from the dashboard.

    The Import/Export task is started.

  2. Select the option Export to migration package.

    This exports both the configuration and services to a zip file suitable for backup or migration. The zip file is stored on the local machine running the LCM client.

    Note: For security reasons, SQL passwords are not included in the export package.

    Click Next.

  3. In File name, specify a path and file name for the migration package and click Next.
  4. On the Summary screen, verify your settings and click Finish.
