Upgrading IEC Server through CCSS

Use these procedures to retrieve an available EC Customer Correction Self Service (CCSS) fixes. A CCSS fix is applied before or after you install EC Server. Before using a CCSS fix, you must stop the running EC Server, then, upgrade the EC database.

Use these CCSS fix guidelines:

• To use CCSS fix before you install EC, check for listed EC CCSS fix. If a CCSS fix is available for your IEC version, first apply the fix' base package to LCM to make it available to EC application. Then, install EC. The applied fix will update the installer.

• To use CCSS fix after EC is installed, proceed to update the patch.

When CCSS fix patch upgrade is completed, you must run Republish All and (Re)activate mappings for changes to take effect.
