Upgrade M3 Foundation

If a new version of the foundation gar file is available, you must upgrade your environment by following these steps:

  1. Right-click your environment and select Major Upgrade.
  2. Depending on the environment status:

    • If the environment is running or set in maintenance mode, the message "M3 BE is running" is displayed.

      Select Confirm shutdown of M3 BE and click Next.

    • If the environment is stopped, "Select M3 BE foundation" is displayed.

      Note: The environment will remain stopped until the application is started.
  3. Select the .gar file for the new version of M3 Foundation, and click Next.
  4. On the Summary screen, verify the property values and click Finish.
  5. When the task is finished, a dialog is displayed. Click OK. To view the log file, either click View log or go to the Logs view.
