Upgrading Event Hub to M3 Core Release

Note: The Grid Database Connectivity Grid Extension (GDBC) must be configured on the Grid which the application Event Hub uses. GDBC is required which means Event Hub depends on GDBC for backend storage. See topic Installing the Grid Database Connectivity in M3 Core Installation Guide for configuration of GDBC.

Upgrade the Event Hub between minor versions, for example, 2.1 to 2.2.

  1. In the Applications view of LifeCycle Manager, right-click the Event Hub instance that must be upgraded and select Upgrade Event Hub to 2.2
  2. On the Upgrade Event Hub wizard step, ensure the version information is correct.

    Click Next.

  3. The High Availability wizard step supplies the option to add a backup server to the current Event Hub installation, see the topic "High Availability for Event Hub" in the M3 Core Installation Planning Guide.

    Click Next.

  4. On the Summary window, verify the properties.

    Click Finish.
