Finding classes

You can find the class that belongs to a particular program, display interface, or database interface.

Note: Make sure to use the capitals correctly, as some of the added functions can be case sensitive. For example, use OIS100 instead of ois100.

To find a program class, use only the program part of the class name, for example OIS100.

To find a class

  1. To view Find Class, navigate to main page>Subsystem page>Tools>Find Class.

The Find Class page is displayed.

  2. Specify the class you want to find, for example MMS100.
  3. Click Find.

The path to the currently active class is displayed in the Used entry field.

The Version list shows the class hierarchy for the current instance of the class, versions of this class, and its superclasses. The version strings are included in the class files and display the version for the M3 BE class, and revision control system information for the foundation level classes, to identify the source and binary file currently in use.
