Creating certificate signing requests using console tools
- Generate a certificate signing request on the grid host where the externally signed SSL certificate should reside. Each grid host requires its own SSL certificate if there are any grid routers on that host. For instructions on how to generate the certificate signing request, see Console tool methods and options.
- Copy the certificate signing request generated in step 1 to the Certificate Authority. See the documentation for the CA on how to submit a certificate signing request.
- Save the result to file and copy the file to the grid host where the certificate signing request was initially generated.
- Import the signed SSL certificate. For instructions on how to import it, see Console tool methods and options.
