Client access to grid applications when using the SAML Session Provider
When the SAML Session Provider is installed, a SAML router is also installed. This router has the saml2 web authentication method enabled, and can be used by passive (browser) clients accessing grid applications. Active clients, such as Infor Smart Office, must access grid applications via another router that has the basic web authentication method enabled, e.g. the Default Router. Assertion Consumer Service endpoints need only be configured for saml2-enabled routers. For more information about configuring web authentication methods, see Configuring Router WWW Authentication Methods.
