Exporting an SSL Certificate with private key
The SSL certificate can be exported together with the corresponding private key. This is used to back up the SSL certificate or if the same certificate is required on multiple grid hosts for use with a load balancer.
- Start the Grid Configuration Manager and select Security > Certificates.
- Identify the Grid Host to export the SSL certificate for and click the Manage Certificates link.
- Click Export SSL Certificate with private key.
- Select which keystore type it should be exported as. If it should be imported into another Grid host, select "[p12] - RSA PKCS12 keystore for browser clients".
- Provide a keystore password. Remember this password because it is required to access the keystore or import it again.
- Click Export Key and Certificate chain.
- Click "Download keystore..." and "Download passwordfile..." to save the exported files.
- Click Close.
