Creating a DAF connection and Basic Data

Before you can use "DAF Archive" process step in an agreement, you must specify a DAF connection and Basic Data. Use these procedures to create a DAF connection and Basic Data.

Note: IEC validates a connection to DAF(DB), then if the connection is working, IEC reuses the connection. When sending data to DAF and a connection fails, IEC will automatically close the connection and retrieve a new connection to avoid a connection failure.
