API authentication

Before you can connect to the M3 API, you must authenticate using API Socket or API Socket with SSL.

Here are the API authentication types:

• API Socket - uses the API authentication based on the user and password.

• API Socket with SSL - uses the user and password. Additionally, it uses the keystore and keystore password in API authentication.
