M3 API connectivity tasks
You do these tasks from the M3 API Connectivity page.

Edit an existing M3 API connection.
- Select a connection to modify and click Edit.
- On the New window, update the field values and click OK.
- Verify that the new connection is listed under the Configured SQL locations.

Remove an M3 API connection.
- Select a connection to disconnect and click Remove.
- Verify that the removed connection is no longer listed under the Configured server locations.

Set a default connection.

Select an M3 API connection and click Make Default.
Operations requiring an M3 API connection will use this by default.
- Verify that the connection is now listed as the Default location.

Select an M3 API connection and click Make Default.

Copy an M3 API connection.

Select an M3 API connection and click Copy.
The selected SQL connection is copied.
- Verify that a new connection with "- Copy" appended to the name is listed under the Configured server locations.

Select an M3 API connection and click Copy.

Test a connection.
This option will only verify the connection to the M3 API Server instance.
This option does not verify that the denoted API is actually accessible. A connection error message is displayed if the machine is unavailable or a wrong ip/host address is specified.
