Monitor Page overview

EC Administrators use this page to monitor the status and activities of EC nodes and instances in grid.

This list shows the available EC monitor tasks:

Status

This link shows the EC application status and links to these sub-tasks:

  • The EC System running on grid

  • The EC application

  • The Application session provider, if used

Logging

Application logs are categorized for monitoring and updates.

Here are the available links:

  • The Log Levels link shows a view of individual log settings. You can configure the settings displayed on this page.

  • The Log files link shows a table list of grid host log files. Use the search filter to shorten the list.

  • The Log Archiver link shows log archive status and settings.

  • The Log Archive Viewer link shows a library of archived logs.

To view Merged Log Entries, click the View/Filter/Download link. The Merged Log Entries display will only show a partial view of very large log outputs. Expand the view to show more details.

EC and Grid log views are separated to avoid duplicates and unnecessary logs on display.

Advanced

This table shows the tasks that you can do in EC Advanced monitoring:

Configuration Allows you to view grid configuration.
System Alert Shows information on events that may require administrative attention.
Sessions Shows detailed information on logged sessions.
Client Connections Shows an overview of all clients connected to the grid.
Connection Dispatchers Shows an overview of all connection dispatchers configured for this grid.
Proxies Shows an overview of all proxies registered in grid.
Web Components Shows an overview of all web components registered in grid.
Network Diagnostics Measures network latency and throughput.
Grid Status Report Generates and downloads a status report about grid.
About Shows information about this application such as grid node, version, and copyright.
