Managing Error Message XSLT Definition

Use these procedures to manage the XSL used to format error messages.

  1. Access EC Management Pages > Utilities > Error Message XSLT Definition.

    Here are the available tasks on this page:

    Task Steps
    To view the default XSLT definition.

    Click the Default MEC error message XSLT link.

    A new page opens to display the content of Default XSLT file.

    To download the default XSLT definition.

    Click the disk icon under the Download column.

    The XSL file is automatically saved in your downloads folder.

    To upload a custom XSLT definition.

    Click the Browse button in Upload Custom XSLT column.

    In the file window, select the XSL definition to upload and click Open. Then, click the Upload XSLT button.

    Note that you must verify the validity of XSL file to upload. The IEC UI node does not run a validity check if the uploaded XSL file is correct.

    To view an uploaded custom XSL definition Click the file link of the uploaded XSL file.
    To delete an uploaded XSL definition

    Select the XSL definition to delete.

    Click the delete link.

    To update a custom XSL definition

    Click the Browse button.

    From the file browser, select the XSL definition to use.

    Click the Update XSLT button.

  2. Click the Reload Default XSLT button to reload error message XSLT.

    The view displays a reload status message: "Successfully reloaded error message XSLT ".
