Set the Message Archive

Processed messages are permanently stored in the message archive. In Partner Admin tool, if you add ARCHIVE in your process steps, the processed messages are stored into the archive.

Use this procedure for every Archive property value to update.

Before you can configure any property value in this group, you must be logged in as an administrator.

  1. On the EC Configuration page, click the Edit Properties link.
  2. In the Application Defined Properties list, scroll down to the Archive group and expand the view.
  3. To set the Archive property values, click the value link across the property to update.
  4. On the Edit Property window, specify a new value.

    Use these guidelines:

    Property Description
    DocArchiver.Path

    Specify the path to the folder where to store messages. This is relative to the Central File folder.

    Data is archive/doc

    Archive.Backup.Path

    Specify the path to the folder where to store back-up files. This is relative to the Central File folder.

    Data is archive/backup

    Archive.LoadIndexOnStart

    Toggles archive index loading during start up.

    The LoadIndexONStart property default value is 1 (enable)

    The GenerateIndexOnStart property default value is 0 (disable)

    Archive.GenerateIndexOnStart

    Toggles archive index generation on start up. For huge archives, processing may take longer time to complete.

    Default data is 1, where 0=not generate, and 1=generate

    Archive.Index

    Specify the Archive index filename. This is relative to the Central File folder.

    Data is DefaultIndex.xml

  5. Click Update Property.
  6. Save the changes.
