Restarting EC Application
When Grid is started, EC Application is started. When EC Application is started, grid fulfils the initial conditions in the binding settings. The binding settings are the number of initial, minimum, and maximum nodes in EC. The first node to start will use the grid property status, this status is used grid-wide.
If you modify the grid property settings, you must restart (stop and start) all EC Server nodes for changes to take effect. After a restart, all EC server nodes will have the same application property status.
If you modify the EC Application properties, you must restart EC Application for changes to take effect. Before you can restart EC Application, you must restart Grid.
Use these guidelines to restart EC Application

Invoke Start only if you Stopped the application.

When EC Application is started, do not select to immediately shutdown the nodes.

Depending on the complexity of your EC configuration, you must always properly stop EC application.
Other EC application configuration do not require a stop action. During shutdown, a node warming message may be displayed, you can proceed with the shutdown.
