Configuring New Incoming Communication Channel

To use the newly created channel, you must configure it in the Partner Administration Tool.

  1. On Partner Admin Tool menu, place your new Incoming Communication Channel jar file in the classes folder.
  2. Restart PAT to load the new Incoming Communication Channel jar file for validation of Java class.
  3. On Partner Admin Tool menu, select Manage > Advanced.
  4. Click the Receive Protocols tab and select an object from the list.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. On Edit existing receive protocol object, modify the name and Java class.
  7. Right-click on the table of properties and select Insert Property.
  8. Specify the new property, default value, and description.
  9. Select Mandatory if required.
  10. Click OK.
