Create a DAF connection

Before you can create a DAF connection, you must have a running DAF environment.

  1. Select Manager > Communication.

    The Communication window is displayed.

  2. Click the DAF (Document Archive Foundation) tab.
  3. Click New. The Create New DAF Connection window is displayed.
  4. Specify this information:
    Name

    Specify a descriptive name for this connection.

    REST URL

    Specify the HTTP URL of DAF application.

    This is a mandatory field.

    User name

    Specify the username to this connection.

    Password

    Specify the password for this username.

    Auth Mode

    Specify the authentication mode used by DAF service.

    This is a mandatory field.

  5. Click OK.
