Editing a send channel

  1. In the PA tool menu, select Manage > Communication. Click the Send tab.
  2. Optionally, pause on a send channel from the list to show more information for this channel, such as, Folder, File extension, Routing class, Make file unique, and Routing description.
  3. Select a channel to edit.
  4. Click Edit to modify the property values.

    The Edit existing routing object window is displayed. See Creating send channel.

    The DISK protocol writes a message to an output folder. To be able to put the file in a preferred location with a specific name, you must modify several parameters. See Editing the file name settings.

  5. Optionally, you can select to make the file name unique, see Editing the file name settings.
  6. Click OK to save your changes.

    After you save the send channel, you must restart IEC for changes to take effect.
