To delete JAR files

  1. Retrieve the host address and log in to that host machine.

You get the host address from the Local Management view of the node containing the JAR file. See the bar at the top of the page view.

    For example: EC_Central_10.20.300.400:60888-6500: Custom Files

  2. Retrieve the physical location of the JAR files in the host.

You get the directory path from the Local Management view of the node containing the JAR file. See the Custom File Browser view.

    For example: D:LifeCycle\{host name}\grid\applications\MECApplication\appdata\MecServer\custom

  3. Locate the second JAR file in the host, which has the same file name in step 2. This file is used for the class loading.

    For example: D:LifeCycle\{host name}\grid\applications\MECApplication\libs\11.4.4.0-SNAPSHOT\lib

  4. Stop EC Application.
  5. Access the physical location of these JAR file directories.
  6. Select and delete these two JAR files.
  7. Go back to Grid and then restart EC Application for changes to take effect.
