Loading the downloaded ION API file in Mapper

You must load the ION API file in Mapper after downloading it as specified in Enabling Authorized Apps and Downloading the ION API file. Not having the correct authorization for your applications in OAuth2 can result in a Connectivity Test Failure, if you test the connection. Open Business Document Mapper and follow these steps:

  1. Select Window > Preferences.
  2. Select a Configured server location.
  3. Click Edit if you have an existing server preference or click New to create a new server preference.
  4. Click Load ION API File.
  5. Select the downloaded ION API file with enforced scopes.
  6. Click Open.
  7. Click OK twice, to save the changes.
  8. Restart Business Document Mapper.
    Your authorized applications are now connected with the server without any issues. You can test this by clicking Test Server Connection in Mapper Preferences.
  9. Select Window > Preferences.
  10. Select a Configured server location.
  11. Click Test Server Connection.
  12. Specify your credentials the OAuth2 Authorization window.
  13. Click Sign On.
  14. Click Allow.
    The scopes you selected and included in the downloaded ION API file are shown in the Request for Approval.
  15. Click OK.
    The Connectivity Test Success window shows the results of the connectivity test.
