M3 Cloud File Transfer client

You can monitor the on-premises M3 Cloud File Transfer client through the Infor OS Health services. The Health service shows these statuses:
  • Green OK status when the CFT client is responding.
  • Red ERROR status when the CFT client is not responding

Approximately every 10-15 minutes, a health check is performed to check the status of the CFT client. If the CFT client responds to the health check, a healthy notification is sent back to Health Services which shows the client as healthy. The health check only verifies if the server can communicate with at least one CFT client. If multiple clients are installed, a single healthy notification is enough to show the client as healthy in the Health Services on the Infor OS platform.

If the client is not responding, an unhealthy notification is sent to Health Services. The Health Services requires for two or more unhealthy notifications in a row to occur before the client is considered unhealthy. This minimizes alerts due to temporary outages.

Notifications are only sent to the Infor OS Health Services under these conditions:
  • A CFT client is registered.
  • The tenant has opted in sending these notifications.
Note:  Uninstalling the CFT client does not stop Health Service notifications. You should opt out to stop the notifications.
