Notifications when using a deprecated Grid or Java version

The CFT client checks the current Grid and Java runtime versions, and verifies that the versions installed are supported. The check is performed during client start-up, so a notification is sent whenever the client is restarted.

If a version is older than the currently supported version, a Health Service notification is sent. This notification contains information that an upgrade to a supported versions of Grid or Java is required. The notification also contains a reference to KB3568078, which has information to help users understand what actions they are required to take.

Note: Two separate notifications are sent regarding the unsupported Grid or Java versions.

A user with M3BE-SystemAdministrator role is required to view the Health Service notification.

CFT clients with deprecated Grid or Java does not give the customers the choice of opting in or out through the CFT admin user interface.
