Journal number

Requirement

All entries of accounting transactions recorded in a general ledger must be numbered in an unbroken sequence.

M3 solution

M3 has an unbroken number series. Journal number is a global number series for all accounting entries in M3.

It is annual and cannot be configured by the user.
