Discarding of fixed assets

Requirement

Special rules are applicable for this country:

• If a fixed asset is disposed, then an option must be available to control accounting transactions based on the discarding reason.
• Optionally, a half-year rule can be applied for yearly tax depreciation. In this case, depreciation for half a year or none is posted.
• Instead of depreciation reversal, the remaining value must be posted.

M3 solution

Fixed assets can be discarded using standard functionality in the Fixed Assets module.
