Requirement

For internal reporting purposes, cost allocations are often processed.

M3 solution

Periodic cost allocation is supported by M3 routines through these keys:

• Fix keys that are based on percentages or quantities
• Dynamic keys that are based on actual or budget values or resource driver units

Allocations can also be processed on internal cost rates.

In this country, these types of cost accounting features are used for internal cost accounting or external cost allocation.
