Electronic supplier payments
Requirement
Functionality for electronic payments and remittances of invoices to approved suppliers, through the banking systems of a specific country, is a normal business requirement.
In Singapore, industry-wide initiatives are supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS).
For Singaporean companies that trade in the SEPA area and have a bank account in the SEPA area, SEPA payments can be processed. All bank transactions are cleared centrally. The SEPA Credit Transfer format is based on the general ISO 20022 standards. These specifications are based on the SEPA Credit Transfer Rulebook.
M3 solution
The supplier payment proposal is used to select the invoices and the credit invoices that are to be included in a payment run. On update of the proposal, a detailed electronic payment file, to SEPA standards, is produced.
The SEPA supplier payment message is delivered with this country version.
For this country version, this message has been adapted, as made available in Infor Localization Services GEMS, ‘Credit Transfer – 100026’: ‘SG – Credit Transfer pain001 HSBC’.
