Format of bank account numbers
Requirement
Countries and banks have different structures for bank account numbers.
M3 solution
The formats in this country for domestic and international bank accounts are supported by M3.
General configuration guidelines
| Format | Example |

| Domestic bank account number |
Numeric, 10 digits long. Example: 041 71 64 300 Normally, separators and blanks are not included in electronic messages. |
| BBAN (basic bank account number) |
Alphanumeric, 14 digits long. Example: ABNA0417164300 The first four positions are used for the bank identifier. |
| IBAN (international bank account number) | Alphanumeric, 18 digits long. Example: NL91ABNA0417164300 |
