Importation number

Requirement

In some countries, companies must identify imported items that are being sold, as required by customs authorities.

In Mexico, companies must print the importation number (pedimento) on sales invoices when selling an imported item.

M3 solution

Users can specify the importation number of imported goods at their receipt. The stock is managed per importation number by M3. When the imported goods are being sold, an importation number is assigned to issued invoices from stock allocation, that is, picking, at the level of the item line by M3.
