Electronic audit files – SAF-T
Requirement
It has become more common that auditors and some governments require audit information in electronic formats. The global standard was originally set by the OECD with their SAF-T format. This original standard has been adopted and is being adjusted by tax authorities in many countries around the world.
M3 solution
The creation of electronic audit files in XML or TXT format is supported by the M3 Financial Audit and Accounting module.
