‘FB Bank Charge. Open’ (FBJP40)

You can define, per bank and per payment charge ID, the bank charges that are necessary to create payment data for firm banking. You can define three types of bank charges for each bank and each charge ID:

  • Same bank and same branch
  • Same bank, but different branch
  • Different bank

This table shows the settings for bank charges:

Lower limit

Specify the lower limit for the payment amount and below which a charge must be applied.
Upper limit

Specify the upper limit for the payment amount and above which a charge must be applied.
Charge1

Specify the charge amount 1 to be applied for a payment amount that is outside the specified limits.

Charge2

Required

Specify the charge amount 2 to be applied for a payment amount that is outside the specified limits.

The charge that is considered for calculating payment data for firm banking is the total amount of Charge1 and Charge2.

Multiple levels of charges

You can define up to four levels of charges to be applied for payments that are outside a specified range. For each level, you must define different values. If you define two charges for one line, then these are grouped and applied as payment charges for firm banking.

This table shows an example:

In this example, if the payment amount is ¥29,999, then the applied charge is ¥105. If the payment amount is ¥30,001, then the applied charge is ¥210.
