PO Certificate of Analysis Automation

The PO Certificate of Analysis Automation streamlines the handling of Certificate of Analysis documents, which are quality-assurance documents received from suppliers when deliveries are made for purchase orders in M3.

A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is a formal document that confirms a product complies with the required specifications. The CoA is widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food manufacturing, and typically includes details about product identity, quality, and purity. CoAs are essential for regulatory compliance and customer assurance.

The solution uses Infor Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Infor Document Processor (IDP) to automatically extract key data, such as Item Number and Lot Number, from the scanned CoA PDF files. Each document is then uploaded to Infor Document Management (IDM), making the documents contextually accessible across multiple M3 programs.

This capability enables users in sales, stock management, and quality assurance to retrieve CoAs for items being sold or stored, ensuring regulatory compliance and improving customer confidence.
