Configure global variables

Global Variables enable you to create reusable variables that are displayed in form fields or used as inputs for data services and links.

You can use these available variable types to configure global variables:

• Calculation: Perform any type of calculation. This only works when a single line is selected.
• Summarize: Summarize the value of a specific field from all selected rows in a data grid.
• Latest Value: Stores the value of specified field from the most recently selected line in a data grid.
