Prerequisites for sending email notifications for failed messages

You can receive notifications when messages fail in IEC. When configured, an email is sent for message failures with details. You can specify who to target the emails to through the settings options.
Note: A similar functionality in Health Service notifications exists where failed messages are also reported. In IEC, you are only operating on your own email and account, and you cannot define other recipients.

Before enabling this feature, you must set up these items:

  • Object schemas
  • Connection point
  • Monitor
