Customer Account Creation

When you create a new customer account in M3, the Customer Account Creation solution helps you manage the entire process. It guides the request through review, approval, and customer setup steps. The solution supports the Establish Customer process in the Infor Process Catalog (IPC) and helps reduce delays that can occur when multiple departments are involved.

For example, you're creating a customer account for a new business partner. With the enhanced workflow enabled, the request is automatically checked for duplicate customers and compliance risks before it reaches approvers. After approval, the customer record is created in M3 automatically. Reviewers receive tasks in Infor Inbox, and email notifications help keep the process moving. If someone doesn't complete a task by the due date, the workflow sends reminder emails automatically.
