Configuring a Gantt component

Configure a Gantt component for your application.
Note: The Gantt component is currently tailored for the MOS199MI API. The default field mappings in the Data mapping tab are based on that API.

Adding the Gantt component

  1. Click the + icon in the editor and click Gantt .
  2. Click Configure.
  3. Specify a name in the Component ID.
  4. In the General Settings tab, specify the value in the Component heading field or leave it blank.
  5. Click Save.

Connecting a data source

  1. Open the Gantt configuration by clicking Configure.
  2. Click Operations tab.
  3. Select the data service for these operation types:
    Read
    Select data service or API to use for displaying tasks. For example, MOS199MI/Lst.
    Update
    Select data service/API to use for updating tasks. For example, MOS199MI/Update.
  4. Click Save.

Adding an interaction

Interaction triggers control when the Gantt component loads or reloads its data. They connect the component to events from other components or the application itself.

  1. In the Gantt configuration, click the Interaction tab and click + Add.
  2. Specify these information:
    Source component
    Select a component that triggers the interaction. For example, another component or the application.
    Component element
    This is an optional field. Select an element from the source component that triggers the event.
    Event
    Select to set when the interaction is triggered. For example, these are on load, selection, refresh, or search.
    Operation
    Select which operation to run.
  3. Click Save.

Configuring timeline and tasks

Map the fields that define how tasks appear and behave on the timeline.
Note: 

The Gantt component is currently tailored for the MOS199MI API. The default field mappings in the Data mapping tab are based on that API.

  1. In the Data mapping tab and under Tasks fields section,configure how tasks should be identified and displayed on the timeline.
  2. Specify these information:
    ID fields
    Use these fields to identify a task. For example, PRNO, MWNO,OPNO, ACTS,PLPN
    Name
    Use this field to display on the task bar. For example, OPDS
    Description fields
    Use these fields to display in the task description. For example, PRNO, MWNO,ACTR
    Start date
    Use this field to define the start date of the task on the timeline. For example, STDT
    Start time
    Use this field to define the start time of the task on the timeline. For example, MSTI
    End date
    Use this field to define the end date of the task on the timeline. For example, FIDT
    End time
    Use this field to define the end time of the task on the timeline. For example, MFTI
    Status
    Use this field to indicate the end time of the task on the timeline. For example, WOST
  3. Click Save.
