Publishing an application

Publishing makes an application available to users. You can publish a single application or multiple applications at once. Only applications that have the Ready for publish status or Deactivated status can be published. If an application has the Approved status, you must change it to the Ready for publish status before publishing.

Publishing a single application

  1. In the Experience Designer Administration dashboard, locate the application .
  2. If the application is in Approved status, select it and change the status to Ready for publish.
  3. Select the application and click Publish.
  4. In the confirmation dialog, verify the application name and version, then click Yes.
    The application status changes to Published, and the application becomes available to users.

Publishing multiple applications

You can publish several applications at once using bulk publish.

  1. In the Experience Designer Administration dashboard, select the applications to publish.
  2. Click Publish.
    Note: The Publish button is available only when all selected applications are in Ready for publish or Deactivated status. If any selected application is in another status, such as Approved or Published, the button is unavailable.
  3. In the confirmation dialog, review the list of applications and versions to be published, then select Yes.
    All selected applications are published at once. If multiple versions of the same application are selected, only the latest version is published.
