Searching using AI-assisted mode in Advanced Search

AI-assisted search is available in Advanced Search. You can search by using natural language instead of technical query syntax. Generative AI processes the user’s input, converts it to an M3 IES query, and returns the results.
Note: This feature is available only if it is enabled for your tenant and user.
  1. Click Advanced Search.
  2. Select AI-assisted search mode.
  3. In the AI-assisted search field, describe the search criteria by using business terms, for example:
    • Customers under customer type 2
    • Items with status 10 and item type Z10
  4. Click Search or press Ctrl + Enter.
    The system generates an IES query and automatically runs the search.
  5. Review the displayed results. If necessary, modify the input and run the search again.
Note: This search uses generative AI. AI-generated results may require review.
