Viewing the changes of M3 BE MI APIs

You can use the Compare MI screen to view information about these changes between the current and previous versions of M3 BE MI API programs:
  • New API programs
  • New transactions in API programs
  • New fields in existing transactions
  1. Select Compare > Compare MI.
  2. Select an option in the Compare Option field to display relevant data in the search results:
    • New API Programs: Shows MI programs that were added in the current version.
    • New Transactions in API Programs: Shows new transactions added to existing MI programs.
    • New Fields in Existing Transactions: Shows new fields added to existing transactions.
  3. Click Compare.
  4. Review the comparison results.
    For new API programs, this information is displayed:
    • Program Name
    • Component
    • Description
    For new transactions in API programs, this information is displayed:
    • Program Name
    • Component
    • Transaction Name
    • Transaction Description
    For new fields in existing transactions, this information is displayed:
    • Program Name
    • Component
    • Transaction Name
    • Field Name
    • Field Type (Input/Output)
    • Length
    • Description
    You can click the hyperlinks in the results to view more details.
  5. To export the results, click the Export to Excel icon.
