Using automation in M3

In the integrated M3 experience, users can:

  • Create and edit automations in the MForms Automation Builder UI
  • Paste automations as XML or links for reuse
  • Import automations as XML files
  • Run automations immediately in the same M3 session

Access and security

This is managed through the M3UI-Designer role and controls the visibility and use of MForms Automation Builder.

Menu visibility

Only users with the M3UI-Designer role can:

  • See the Utility Tools folder
  • Access the MForms Automation Builder

Administrators must ensure that:

  • Users have the correct role assignment (M3UI-Designer)
  • Users understand menu visibility restrictions
