Supported languages
The widget interface, labels, and configuration options are displayed in the user's preferred language. If the preferred language is not supported, the widget is displayed in English (en-US).
This widget supports these languages:

Widget management

Configuring the M3 KPI widget
- Click .
- Specify this information:
- Title
- Click the unlock button and specify a widget title.
- Automatic refresh rate
- Select a refresh rate interval.
- Monitor name

Specify the monitor name. Optionally, click to translate the monitor name into a different language.

- Sub header

Specify the sub header of the monitor. Optionally, click to translate the sub header into a different language.

- Severity indication

Enable this setting to show the configured indicators for the configured monitor.
If enabled, click . In the Configure Severity Indication window, use the slider to apply a color, specify a numerical range for the input, and select an icon to indicate the level of severity.
- Max record count
- Specify the number of records to display for the monitor. If the record exceeds the max record count, a plus sign is added as an indicator.
- Specify this M3 API information:
- Program
- Click the look-up button in this required field. Search for an M3 program, for example CRS610, and provide a description to filter the results. Select a record from the programs list and click .
- Transaction
- Click the look-up button in the required field. Search for a transaction, for example SearchCustomer, and provide a description to filter the results. Select a record from the transactions list and click .
- Input

Click the look-up button.
On the data grid, you can perform these tasks:
- Select Input to identify the input fields to be submitted to the API transaction.
- Select Use input to enable a user to override the input value from the widget actions on the widget menu.
- Optionally, specify an entity type if you require the widget to retrieve business context messages. For example, specify InforCustomerPartyMaster as the entity type. Then, specify an input in the Value field using the format {InforCustomerPartyMaster}. This input is also reflected in the Id1 context message, which you can use as an input field to run the MI request.

Supported macros for the input field
- Infor entities macros
The macros for entities uses this format: {<infor_provided_entity_name>}. For example, {InforCustomerPartyMaster}. Take note that the user should also add the same entity name on the entity type column when configuring the input parameter.
- Location macros
The macros for location uses this format: {<coordinate>, [<no_of_decimals>]} where the value inside the square brackets [] are optional.
The types of location macros include:- {longitude}
- {latitude}
- {latitude, 3} where 3 is optional in this example
- Date macros
The date macros uses this format: DATE(<integer>), where the value of integer calculates the time frame from the current date. For example:
- DATE(-30): calculates date of 30 days behind from the current date
- DATE(0): current date
- DATE(+30): calculates date of 30 days ahead from the current date
- User context macros
The macros for user context uses this format: {<user context fields>}.Note: The user context fields are retrieved from the current user records from (MNS150).
This list contains the supported user context macros:
- {CHNO} - change number for project ID
- {CONM} - user's division name
- {CONO} - user's company
- {CSYS} - connected system
- {CUNO} - customer
- {DCFM} - user's decimal format
- {DEPT} - user's department
- {DEVD} - user's location
- {DFMN} - user's start menu
- {DIVI} - user's division
- {DTFM} - user's date format
- {EMAL} - user's email address
- {EUID} - external user id
- {EQAL} - user's equipment alias search sequence
- {FACI} - user's facility

Translating monitors in the widget
You can use this procedure to add translations that convert monitor names and sub headers to your preferred language.
- On the Settings dialog box, click .
- On the Translations dialog box, click .
- On the Add Translation dialog box, specify your preferred language and the name to translate in the Language and Name fields.
- Click .
- On the Settings dialog box, click to exit.
