M3 Monitor Drilldown
After receiving the matching group monitor context, the widget displays the list of monitors. You can click a monitor to open the configured list or click the drillback button that redirects you to the bookmarked M3 application. For each monitor, right-click and select between the options copy, edit, or delete.

Configuring the widget
- From the widget toolbar, click the vertical ellipsis icon and click .
- Click .
- Specify this information:
- Group name
- Provide a name for the group of monitor information. For example, specify Manufacturing Orders.
- Entity type
- Specify the custom entity type for the group. For example, specify Mon_MO.
- Click to configure the list of monitors.
- Specify this information:
- Monitor Name
- Provide a monitor name. For example, specify Open MOs.
- Translations

Click this button to translate the monitor name into a different language.

- Severity Indication

Enable this setting to display the severity indicators of grouped records.

- Bookmark configuration

Click this option to configure a bookmark for the monitor.
See Configuring a monitor bookmark.
- Program
- Click the look-up button. In the Program dialog, search for the program name or description, for example PMS100. Select the corresponding search result then click .
- Transaction
- Click the look-up button. In the Transaction dialog, search for a transaction name or description, for example SearchMO. Select the corresponding search result then click .
- Input

Click the look-up button. In the Input/Output Parameters dialog, select Input to identify the input fields to be submitted to the API transaction. An input value can retrieve user context by adding field placeholders enclosed with <>.
Example:

Click the look-up button. In the Input/Output Parameters dialog, configure this monitor information:
- Select which output fields are be displayed in the monitor list.
- Set a numeric value under the Order column to specify the arrangement of the output field for display.
- Change the display labels of columns through the Modify Description functionality. You can also specify a translation for the new label. For the translated label to reflect, set the equivalent language in the user settings of Infor OS.
- Select a maximum record count based on the available options. Default max record count is 100 if not set.
- Click the button to set a bookmark for a specific record. When this is configured, the first row of the monitor list is formatted as a hyperlink.
- In the Add Monitor dialog, click .
- Click the icon to update the parameters of your configured monitor.
- To copy the configured monitor, click the icon.

- To remove a monitor, click the icon.
- In the Add Group Monitor dialog, Click after you add all required monitors. Optionally, you may sort or arrange the monitors using the drag and drop functionality.
Using translations in the M3 Information Monitor widget
- On the Add Monitor dialog, click .
- On the Translations screen, click .
- On the Add Translation dialog, specify this information:
- Language
- Use the list to select your preferred language.
- Translation Name
- Specify the name to translate.
- Click .
- Optionally, click on the Translations dialog to add more languages.
- Click .
- On the Add Monitor dialog, click to exit.
Configuring the severity indication of monitors
Use this procedure to configure severity indication by using the slider to apply a color, set a numerical range for the input to indicate the level of severity, and set the icon indicator. Users can set one or all severity indicators for each monitor.
- Enable the option and click .
- Use the slider to select a color for a severity level.
Severity color are as follows: 0-Blue, 1-Green, 2-Yellow, and 3-Red.
- Set the numerical range for the severity of the selected color.
Use the Higher than field to indicate the low limit for the indicator. For example, 0.
Use the Lower than field to indicate the high limit for the indicator. For example, 21.
- Assign an icon to the severity level being configured.
- Click .
Configuring a monitor bookmark
Configure a bookmark to enable drillback functionality to return either to M3 or an experience designer application.
- Right-click a group of records from the monitor list and select .
- Click .
- Specify this configuration:
- Saved bookmarks
- Select an existing, configured bookmark.
- Bookmark URL
- Add a URL bookmark in this field. The URL is automatically parsed to identify variables, for example, USID and CONO which pertains to user details.
- Click .
Using the Copy Monitor functionality
Use this functionality to copy an existing monitor without doing a configuration of the widget manually.
- Right-click a group of records from the monitor list and click . Specify a name for the new monitor.
- Optionally, update some configurations that are copied from the original monitor. For example, change the input parameters by clicking the lookup button, updating the value column manually, and clicking .
- From the Copy Monitor dialog, click .
All configurations from the source monitor are copied to the new monitor unless you changed some parameters.
