Drillback Actions

Use this widget to create a list of drillback actions, which you can click to redirect to an M3 program or an external link.
You can add these types of links:
  • Static: Contains a permanent value
  • Dynamic: Changes when the widget receives data from context messages

This widget receives various context messages. You can use this with any M3 program, any workspace widget, or any application that sends a context message such as Infor Business Context and Infor Widget Context.

Additionally, you can perform these actions:
  • Show the latest drillbacks only
  • Drag a drillback action to reorder the list
  • Edit a drillback action
  • Delete a drillback action

Prerequisite

Before using the widget, you must have access to Workspaces and knowledge in Drillback URLs.

Limitation

The settings for the icon color is only available for English translation.

Property keys

This widget accepts property keys that start with id such as id1, and user context macros.

Supported macros for the input field

  • Infor entities macros

    The macros for entities uses this format: {<infor_provided_entity_name>}. For example, {InforCustomerPartyMaster}. Take note that the user should also add the same entity name on the entity type column when configuring the input parameter.

  • Location macros

    The macros for location uses this format: {<coordinate>, [<no_of_decimals>]} where the value inside the square brackets [] are optional.

    The types of location macros include:
    • {longitude}
    • {latitude}
    • {latitude, 3} where 3 is optional in this example
  • Date macros

    The date macros uses this format: DATE(<integer>), where the value of integer calculates the time frame from the current date. For example:

    • DATE(-30): calculates date of 30 days behind from the current date
    • DATE(0): current date
    • DATE(+30): calculates date of 30 days ahead from the current date
  • User context macros
    The macros for user context uses this format: {<user context fields>}.
    Note: The user context fields are retrieved from the current user records from (MNS150).

    This list contains the supported user context macros:

    • {CHNO} - change number for project ID
    • {CONM} - user's division name
    • {CONO} - user's company
    • {CSYS} - connected system
    • {CUNO} - customer
    • {DCFM} - user's decimal format
    • {DEPT} - user's department
    • {DEVD} - user's location
    • {DFMN} - user's start menu
    • {DIVI} - user's division
    • {DTFM} - user's date format
    • {EMAL} - user's email address
    • {EUID} - external user id
    • {EQAL} - user's equipment alias search sequence
    • {FACI} - user's facility
    • {FADT} - first active date
    • {FRF6} - free field 1
    • {FRF7} - free field 2
    • {FRF8} - free field 3
    • {LANC} - user's language
    • {LADT} - last active date
    • {MNVR} - user's menu version
    • {NAME} - user's full name
    • {PHNO} - telephone number

    • {TFNO} - facsimile transmission number

Task Description
Configuring the widget Use this procedure to configure the Drillback Actions widget. Define the action, context message, entity type, and URL.

Configuring the widget

  1. Click the menu icon (…) on the widget title bar and select Configure.
  2. Click + Add Action.
  3. Specify this information:
    Action Name
    Specify the name of the drillback action. Optionally, click the speech bubble icon to configure translations for the drillback name.
    Context Message
    For dynamic links, select which context message to use. For example, inforBusinessContext or inforWidgetContext.
    Entity Type
    For dynamic links, specify an entity type . For example, InforSupplierPartyMaster.
    URL
    Specify the drillback URL. For programs in M3, copy the drillback URL from the Context Viewer widget.
    Note: Before specifying the URL, change the dynamic parameter to its property key enclosed in {}. The Context Viewer shows all available elements for the M3 program and this includes the property key with its dynamic parameter. You must identify the dynamic parameter in the URL which is shown in this example:LogicalId=lid://infor.m3.m3&program=CRS620&tableName=CIDMAS&keys=IDCONO%2C770%2CIDSUNO%2C100375%2B%2B%2B%2B&option=5&name=CRS620%2FE&description=Supplier.%20Open&panel=E"

    The character 100375 is a dynamic parameter, therefore you must change it to {id1} as its property key. This example shows the correct format of the URL to specify in the URL field:

  4. Optionally, select an icon and an icon color.
  5. Click Ok.
  6. Click Save.
