Importing table selections for a content solution

Several M3 solutions may require a set of tables to configure for publishing, which can be delivered as a zip file to be imported into Data Lake Publisher.

You can import a collection of tables necessary for a content solution or a .zip file that was previously exported.

  1. Select Administration Tools > Data Lake Publisher.
  2. From the list header, click the Import documents icon.
  3. In the Import dialog, select the .zip file by browsing your file system.
    Note: Importing a previously exported or delivered file for a solution creates the table group from the file if needed and adds the selected tables to it. The exported table group defined in the file is updated instead of the currently selected table group, regardless of the selected table group when importing table groups.
  4. Click Save.
  5. On the confirmation message displayed, click Close.
  6. Using ION ingestion to Data Fabric, you must manually refresh the connection point and data flow. See Synchronizing with ION Data Flow.
