Defining flat file targets

You can create multiple flat file targets.
Note: You can only create custom flat file targets.
  1. Select Administration Tools > Enterprise Collaborator Configuration > Detection Management.
  2. Click the Type icon and select FlatDetector to display the Flat Targets panel.
  3. Click the + button to create a flat target.
    Name
    Specify a unique flat file name.
    Description
    Provide a brief description.
    Record Number
    Specify a numeric record.
    Record Separator
    Specify a character to use as a record separator.
    Start Pos
    Specify a start position.
    End Pos
    Specify an end position.
  4. Click Save to store the flat target in the EC database.
  5. To delete the flat target, select the flat target and then click the Delete icon. Click Yes when prompted.
