Verifying the connection points and data flow for M3 and M3 FBM for LSP

If the connection point for M3 is not named m3 or if the connection point for LSP is not named FBM_LSP_Direct, you must update the existing connection points with the applicable documents and reference the existing connection points from the data flow.

  1. Configure the connection points for LSP:
    1. In ION Desk, select Connect > Connection Points.
    2. On the Connection Points page, select the LSP Direct connection point (M3FBM_LSP_FILE) and verify that the Documents tab includes all the inbound and outbound documents that are required for this integration.
    3. Select a document and set it up as shown in this table:

      Sync.LCLFileTransferOutFBM selected
      Load.LCLFileTransferInFBM selected
      Sync.LCLFileTransferIn selected
      Sync.LCLFileTransferOut selected
    4. On the Connection Points page, select the M3 connection point and verify that the Documents tab includes these inbound and outbound documents that are required for this integration:
      Document Receive in application Send from application
      Sync.LCLFileTransferOutFBM selected
      Load.LCLFileTransferInFBM selected
    5. On the LSP connection point, verify that the Documents tab includes these documents that are required for this integration:
      Document Receive in application Send from application
      Sync.LCLFileTransferIn selected
      Sync.LCLFileTransferOut selected
  2. In ION Desk, select Connect > Data Flows.
  3. On the Data Flows page, select the data flow and use the configured connection points. If the file connection point for LSP named M3FBM_LSP_FILE is to be used, you must update the file connection point to use the correct enterprise location and connection details:
    1. In ION Desk, select Connect > Connection Points and select M3FBM_LSP_FILE.
    2. Click the Documents tab and update the Write Location, Read Location, Archive Location, and Error Location. Update the tenant with the actual tenant value.

      For LCLFileTransferInFBM and LCLFileTransferIn, use the LSP direct inbox folder.

      For LCLFileTransferOutFBM and LCLFileTransferOut, use the LSP direct outbox folder.

    3. Click Save, and then click Test.
    If a file connection point to use does not exist, then create a file connection point. See the instructions in Infor ION Technology Connectors Administration Guide (Cloud).

    If an enterprise location is not available for use in the file connection point, create an enterprise location. See the instructions in the Enterprise Connector application connection points section in Infor ION Desk User Guide (Cloud).
