Pausing communication channels

You can manually pause one or more communication channels from receiving incoming messages. You can also set the time the channels are paused.

  1. Select Enterprise Collaborator Administration > Communication.
  2. To manually pause a channel, click Pause on the Channel control tab for the selected channel.
    An information message shows the name of the communication channel, the user who paused the channel, and the time the channel is resumed automatically.
    By default, the selected channel is paused for 30 minutes.
  3. To manually change the default time the channels are paused, select Manual Channel Resumer Setting. Specify a value from 1 to 160 in the Maximum time in minutes that channel/s will be in paused state field, then click Update.
