Sample XML

XML contains user-defined tags to describe data. In Sample XML + Flat tab the view shows the contents of your selected sample XML.

Note:  In Flat File Definition Editor, some properties in your flat file definition structure affect the generated sample XML file.

Use these guidelines:

  • Every unlimited occurrence is written three times, or you can specify a minimum number of occurrences.

  • You can use alpha or numeric field data values.
