Setting the mapping schema categories

When you create a mapping, its default values for the properties SchemaIn.Category and SchemaOut.Category are set to Other. You can set and change the default schema categories.

  1. Open a mapping in the Mapper Editor.
  2. Right-click an area in the Mapper Editor. Select Properties.
  3. Set the mapping schema:
    1. Click the Properties tab, and select the SchemaIn.Category property.
    2. Select a value type for this property.
    3. Repeat steps a and b for the SchemaOut.Category property.
      Note: If a schema is a BOD schema, then its category should be set to BOD to enable some functionality in the mapper. The schema categories are also important for customized BOD mappings.
