Creating a document
You can create new ION documents using Documents in IEC Configuration.
- Click +.

Specify this information in the Create Documents window:
- Name
- Specify the name of the new document. Use this name to search for the document.
- Description
- Provide a brief description of the document.
- Type
- Select the type of document in the list.
- Channel Process Type
- Select one of these options:

- Regular: The document goes through normal processing.
- Fast Track: Prioritize the document to be processed or received in IEC over other documents.
- Receive
- Select this check box to receive the documents from ION to IEC.
- Send
- Select this check box to send the documents from IEC to ION.
- Character Encoding for Receive
- Select the encoding to be used when receiving documents. Only character encodings that are defined in the Enterprise Collaborator Configuration screen are displayed in the list.
- Click Save.
